We are incredibly excited to be returning to an in-person conference this October, and we are looking forward to the opportunity to use this conference as a way to re-introduce artists and educators to the wonderful resources available to them in the community.
The Trade Fair is a chance to connect with teachers, professors, artists and students and share information about your organization, theatre company, bookstore, AV company, costuming company, dancewear company, and more! The dance and drama landscape is vast so our conference delegates will be excited to see the array of community connections available to them!
DATE AND TIME
We are using responses from past conferences in our design of this year’s trade fair to ensure that your time at the conference is fruitful to our delegates and to your organization. The Trade Fair will run on Saturday October 22, from 8:00 AM-6:00 PM. You will be able to begin the set-up of your booth anytime after 7:00 AM.
CODE WINE SOCIAL
While delegates will be able to peruse the Trade Fair throughout the entire day, CODE will also be running a Trade Fair Wine Social from 5:00-6:00 PM, where we will be inviting delegates to the Trade Fair to enjoy a complimentary glass of wine, snacks, live music, and a raffle. Our hope is that this social will provide plenty of traffic and opportunities for you to share information about your organization to as many of our delegates as possible.
As Vendors sign-up to join the conference, their logo will be added to our conference website so that delegates can get excited about what to expect!
LET’S MAKE IT A DYNAMIC TRADE FAIR
We have found that a dynamic, hands-on Trade Fair works best and we encourage vendors to bring photos, props, costumes, AV equipment, books…anything to really show delegates what the organization is about. Hands-on, tactile items work really well!
Throughout the day, we will have a Raffle Booth set-up where delegates can purchase raffle tickets. We are hoping that each vendor might bring a prize pack that delegates could enter to win. Each booth will have a raffle jar that delegates can individually put tickets in to. At the conclusion of the Wine Social, we will draw from each jar and send some lucky delegates home a prize pack (or two!).
